[He goes back to staring at the device. The view turns to the boy's little sandals, and his knees, and then back up. He's staring inquisitively at the thing... nothing. Huh.]
...what's this supposed to do? And my monkey. And this thing. Is this thing on?
[He pushes something, and his eyes widen, his expression rather surprised.]
AM I REALLY TEN?! This thing says I'm ten! I'M TEN NOW! I gotta tell my brothers!

All right, I'll do what I can. I'm wearing my marine jacket, you remember what those look like, right? But mine's shorter than normal and I've got blue jeans. You'll probably hear a red-headed girl squawking like crazy. She's apparently hitched a ride.
