[And the PokeGear turns on to Luffy groaning. He's looking kind of grumbly and sleepy, but the Aipom's stolen his device again.]

Stupid Aipy, give it back!

[The pokémon, offscreen, snickers at him.]

GIVE IT BACK! [And a groan and he holds his stomach. He's covered in sugar, which he's been eating nonstop until most of it's gone. The Aipom does not want to let go though, and just hops back; Luffy's distanced from it, and appears a bit smaller on screen. And in a few seconds, the view goes up, up, up! into a tree.

Luffy grumbles and fishes a pokéball from his pocket.]

Marimo, come out!

[Psch! And it's out. The poor Metapod has no idea what's going on. He just sits there, using harden to defend himself...

Because Luffy's just picked it up...

And thrown it at his own Aipom.

The camera shakes and falls rapidly, screen going black halfway before just turning off. Oops.]

Uh-huh! Cuz... I like beetles. [And he's trying to fight off imminent naptime. So he just gets up and starts looking for a beetle.]

[So he goes towards a rock and pushes it over. And then by a tree, and just... leans on it. He doesn't want to look anymore.]

Not weak... [He pushes himself from the tree and walks around it, looking for anything bug-like. Besides the one weedle he walks over, nothing.

So he comes back to Smoker and leans on his legs.]

Just sick? [Desperately resists the urge to pick Straw-Hat up and try to make it better.]

Not sick... I'm not gonna get sick either! [Except he groans again. He shoves himself back and goes beetle hunting again. Which is really just him walking back and forth like a failboat.]

[Watches Luffy's failboating just with his eyes in bemusement.]

Straw-Hat, didn't your Grandfather teach you anything besides how to get punched?

Uh-huh. He used to throw us in the forest a lot so I learned how to eat frogs and hunt stuff! [And he sounds energetic for a grand total of fifteen seconds before going back to being tired again.] But I can't eat the pokémon here so...

Well, I guess it's better than tea parties. Sit. You can have more food when Pervert-Prince finishes cooking and the meds kick in.

Don't wanna sit. [He doesn't wanna eat either, but like hell he'll actually turn it down. He just keeps roaming around Smoker in a circle, looking for beetles.]

Fine. I'm sure the exercise is good for you. [Scratches his chin.] Try the trees. All the bugs here seem to be ridiculously oversized anyway.

Yeah! [Trudge trudge. He goes looking around the tree. In a few minutes, he comes back with a bellsprout, dragging it by its leg.] Smokey, what's this one?

[He'll just have to get a sandshrew or something for that. Or maybe evolve his geodude to a graveler.]

Bellsprout. I assume because their heads look like bell flowers.

[It's squirming. So Luffy sets it down and pulls out a pokéball.]

[And it's out. It already looks distressed. Even moreso as Luffy picks it up and...]
