[And while still in Violet and waiting for Sanji to meet up with them, guess who caught himself a cold from all that snow!

Luffy's currently moping around in the room, flopped on the floor, groaning pathetically, and curling up next to a sleeping Chimchar. His stomach hurts and he's been coughing all day. In short, he feels pretty awful. This is what he gets for going outside without his jacket so many times. He may be strong for a bratling, but he's not that strong.]

Aipy... make it go away...

[The little purple monkey just... pats his hat. Not much he can do.]

[Kaz is, of course, snarky as ever. But gasp, what's this she has for Luffy?

He hugs her legs.] I won't cough on you... [Brb coughing on.]

[Yes, yes it is. For some reason, she can't be annoyed by you right now, so she just grumbles in annoyance.]

[She's also totally not going to sit here and rub your back. Nope. Not at all.]

[And he'll do his best to cough into his new toy, before just leaning his head against her.]

That's because you were a stupid brat and ran around in snow without a jacket or anything.

[Normally, she wouldn't be one to talk, but she has a higher immune system. The cold doesn't bother her, even when she avoids Smoker making her wear a jacket.

Though her voice is a bit less sharp than usual. Dammit, why did you have to make her like you?]

[He sulks, but he's getting kind of comfortable leaning there, so he doesn't move.]

[Go ahead. If anyone asks, she'll deny it.]

Yeah! Cloudy's real stupid! [And he looks up and grins.] Kaz isn't dumb though. You're real smart sometimes, right?

Of course I am. [If she still had feathers, they'd be all puffed up now.]

[He starts laughing... and then coughs into his toy and falls back onto the floor.]

What's so funny?

[Stupid kid.]

[He stops laughing and coughing and just looks at her.]

[And running away now. Or trying.]

[Oh that's it. Come here, you brat!]

[Noooo, fleeeeiiiiing! ...up until he reaches maybe fifteen feet away before he starts coughing into his toy again.]

[....

Sigh.]

Come here, brat. I'm not gonna hurt you.

[And he just walks right back over to her.]

[She's going to settle herself comfortably, then just kind of settle him in her lap if he'll let her. Nobody's watching anyway.]

Don't get sick again.

[He plops himself right down in her lap and nods, curling up to her.]

I don't wanna... it hurts.

Don't be stupid, then, and you won't get sick.

[Lesson here: she is a bad influence. Don't go streaking through the snow like she does.]

I'm not stupid! I didn't want a coat.

[Kaz, you hypocrite!]

So don't wear a coat. Get a really long shirt or something.

[She can afford to be a hypocrite considering her immune system's strong enough to let her walk bare-taloned through toxic waste and dumped sewage without any ill effects.]

[So lucky, Kaz! Luffy's from a place that probably never gets cold. This constant winter is just ridiculous.]

Yup. You don't have to wear a jacket, you still get to annoy Cloudy, but you stay warm.
